It is used as an additive in polymers and resins. It is used as a heat stabilizer and as an antioxidant in polymers and resins for the rubber and plastic industry as well as in adhesives and sealants. The demand for TNPP has been reducing due to the hazardous nature of TNPP and its danger to humans and the environment.
